1. Your account

You must be 18+ and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account.

2. Listings

You may only list items you own and have the legal right to sell. Prohibited items include weapons, counterfeit goods, stolen property, alcohol, tobacco and any illegal items.

3. Transactions

All payments are in cash on pickup between buyer and seller. Nearby Garage Sale is a platform and is not a party to the transaction. We do not hold or process any money.

4. Safety

Always meet in safe, public places when possible, inspect items before paying, and keep communication on-platform.

5. Disputes

Buyer and seller should resolve disputes directly. Our moderators may intervene in cases of policy violations.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
